David is the Founder & Managing Partner of Mazal Capital, where he is responsible for the investment strategy and day-to-day management of the firm. David also manages a private alternative investment vehicle on behalf of the Farahi Family Office. This comprised of limited partnership investments in private equity and venture capital funds and a vast portfolio of angel venture investments.​

 

Prior to founding Mazal Capital, David was a key member of the investment teams at Geolo Capital, the private equity investment arm of John A. Pritzker’s family office, and The Moinian Group.

 

David graduated from Cornell University’s Hotel School and received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. While at Cornell David co-founded Dos Amigos, a Mexican food truck that is now a restaurant and bar in Ithaca’s Collegetown.
